Karis Tresses Enterprise (“we”, “us”) runs karistresses.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we protect it, in line with Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

What we collect

• When you order: your name, phone number, email address, delivery address and landmark, and the items you buy.
• When you contact us: the details you type into our contact form, or send us by WhatsApp, phone or email.
• If you create an account: your login details and order history.
• When you browse: basic technical information such as your device, browser and the pages you visit, collected through cookies and Google Analytics.

We do not see or store your card or MoMo PIN. When online card payment is available, it is processed securely by our payment provider, Paystack, under its own privacy policy.

Why we use it

• To process, deliver and support your orders.
• To reply to your messages and questions.
• To keep our records and meet our legal and tax obligations.
• To understand how our website is used, so we can improve it.
• To send you offers, only if you have agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We share only what is needed with the people who help us run the shop: delivery riders and courier companies (to deliver your order), our payment provider (to process payment), and our website, email and analytics providers. Each of them may only use your information for that purpose.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to keep items in your bag, remember your session and measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the shop may not work properly without them.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as the law requires for accounting and tax purposes, and other information only for as long as we need it for the reasons above.

Your rights

Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to customer information is limited to the people who need it to serve you.
